I played football in grade school and distinctly remember being weighed.. if you were over a certain weight limit, which I can't remember but want to say was maybe 100 pounds, you didn't play.. I remember my coach bringing scissors to the weigh-in stating he'd cut anyone's hair that was barely over the limit.. Luckily I was nowhere near being close to the limit...
