While growing up I was a fan of sitting around the local watering hole with a pole in the water, but really never had andy real desire to go deep sea fishing.. In Mexico I can't tell you how many deep sea fishing boats I've seen leave the dock, only to return within a half hour with green tourists on board - the water is pretty rough off the mainland.. Hell, I hafta take dramamine to dive off the mainland and we're hardly ever in the boat - couldn't imagine staying on it for hours..

Well, your post DOES give me hope, tho! If creatures THAT ugly can get some, maybe eI still have hope after all....
