I just did. A NordicTrack Treadmill.
I LOVE the outdoors.. and working-out indoors I detest. BUT.. it's wet here, and due to our soil type it's going to be wet for the next couple of months. If I want to start running it HAS to be indoors.
No, I have no local gym available to me.
Now my wife, my daughter, my granddaughter, have all SWORN on their honor that they're going to use it. They won't.
I'm far more honest... "I'm going to try". But keep in mind... I may be delusional and simply fooling myself.
I have never worked out on a treadmill... oh sure, I've stepped on them just to 'see' but not once have I ever had even a single workout on a treadmill. I DID get into a stair-stepper once.. and obsessively so. For about 5 years I did an hour's workout on a stair-stepper 7 days a week. Didn't like it, but I did it.
So follow my posts closely... very likely you'll be able to pick up a $2,000 treadmill for a paltry $50 soon. - JamesJM
