All the more reason to not cut off their proverbial nose to spite their face. I agree that it is a unique situation but I don't think anything other than time and winning is going to rectify that. Maybe solidity. None of which includes lacking faith in your look. I get it. They want to target the young(er) demographic.
But what does that say about what they think of that demographic? That a demographic based, money grab would lure the younger generation on board? Seems to suggest that the team thinks they are surface level and shallow. I mean, if they really wanted to cultivate the future, why not get Disney to design the Rams logo and get the children at a nice, young age when they're still impressionable?
Is it really reasonable to think that the disinterested and those that already have a team would now switch to the Rams because they changed their look? Doesn't seem realistic.
This is a macro situation and if they piss of the base, all that's going to do is alienate them and show the younger generation(s) that the team isn't even keeping the traditional fans happy.
