Mandatory?

You don't see any leeway here at all? Last night's example is, IMHO, a bad example because the intent was pretty clear. But there is NO WAY I see all 'targeting' as equal. If I'm reading the NFL's targeting rule correctly there is leeway. And if I'm reading the NCAA interpretation correctly then a completely Unintentional head contact means ejection, and I can't see how that's 'teaching' a thing.
