The Rams prevailed over the Panthers by only three points in a game in which Newton played poorly and missed wide open receivers on key plays. They barely held on at the end to beat a rapidly fading Browns team that was just blown out by the 49ers. They were fortunate that Brees got knocked out, and they faced Bridgewater before he had time to get his game going. They were horrid against the Bucs. It could be that they played to their highest possible level against the Seahawks, but that wasn't good enough. The corners have been awful. I am hoping that someone (Long?) will come off the bench with Talib out and have a good game. If Goff is on and they keep using the tight ends wisely, the Rams could win this game, but it could get ugly.
