What must be considered is who will step in if 'player X' leaves? If the next guy up can do the job then 'played X' is gonna go.
As zn pointed out, the Rams are high on Howard. Do they see him as Littleton's replacement? If so they won't resign Littleton.
Can Edwards or Evans or Demby or Neary do what Blythe does? If so then Blythe will walk.
Fowler seems like a candidate to re-sign. Edge rushers are in short supply and unless Patrick or OBO or someone else really steps up I can see the Rams retaining Fowler.
The Rams seem to excel at identifying and developing CB talent so Peters is a bubble guy to me. I don't know how the Rams feel about replacing both starting CBs in one season, but they might just do that if they have enough quality depth to fill the roster.
Kupp to me seems like the same situation and Fowler: rare talent without a replacement on the roster so he should get extended.
I know there are a number of other guys coming up as well, but I don't yet have a clear opinion on how their futures might play out.
It appears the Rams are already following this formula: they let Saffold walk because they had Noteboom ready to play LG, but they kept Fowler because there wasn't an obvious replacement for him at Edge.
