McVay's first two seasons he fielded teams that were much more potent on the offensive side of the ball, where the weakness was inconsistent defense that would suffer breakdowns in the secondary and folded vs the run.
This year I think that overall equation changes a bit. Rams will still be in that top 5 group in scoring but they will be a better TEAM because of a defense that will finally put up the consistent production vs the run that they've been looking for. So instead of a #1 or #2 offense with a weak defense they will become a team that possesses rare balance with a run/pass threat offense and defense that is stout vs the run and hard to throw on. IMO that will be a combination the rest of the league struggles greatly with and they're gonna win it all.
Lombardi will be ours this year.
