i'm sure you're with me on hoping you're wrong about the 1st comment.
however, you're last comment may work out just fine for the rams from a salary cap perspective.
if gurley produces at a decent level for 3 years the rams can handle the dead cap in 2022 if he had to be cut or retire.
but more importantly, we're talking about todd's health here. i have a son and a daughter both a little bit older than todd and it would break my heart to learn that either one of them had to deal with what todd needs to deal with at such a young age.
