That 1989 MNF game came to my mind too. Realistically had the Rams won the 49ers still win the division at 13-3 and Rams are a 12-4 wildcard. But still- they'd have hosted Philly vs. traveling cross-country and maybe by the time they get to SF in the NFC title game they're not quite running on fumes like they were.
