If you let both Talib and Peter's go they would have a glaring need at CB. I dont think they will let that happen. Hence they will either sign or franchise peters, sign Talib to contract similar to the weddle deal or go after some else in fa/trade. The option they choose they will dictate how high they draft a cb imo.

We're gonna see this season if Peter's is worth an extension. He needs to return to his playmaking, turn over creating ways.

f he does, I think they find a way to extend him. The highest priority in a Wade D is the secondary and specifically with an emphasis on creating turnovers.

I think with Talib, unless his play falls completely off the map, they do what you suggest here and bring him back for 1-2 years.
