Let me explain
The media and to a degree and by extension the public is so quick to dump “something” for the next shiny new toy
In this case Kyler Murray. No doubt a talent with huge upside but not without question marks yet here we go again with elevating this kid and devaluing Josh Rosen who by all measures is a significant talent. Last year some had him projected as the best QB in that class and the most pro ready. There was nothing in his performance last year that should dissuade Arizona that he is not that.
Arizona should stick with Rosen and get all they can from a team looking to get Murray.
And by the way this is not a knock on Murray other than to say Arizona has a young QB prospect. They have made the investment and they are not a team that is one QB away from contending.
As for the media.... seriously the fever pitch in which they grab on to a story and then continue to beat it to death drives me nuts. That and they way they elevate players and drop them so quickly is crazy.
If Rosen gets traded to NY he likely thrives in only a few short seasons under Shurmur and with Barkley taking the heat off.
