IMO paying a guy 12 big ones.....I want more than just production.....for that money this guy needs to become a vet leadership role, I see no need to add more money in for a guy to be a rotational guy, but expect him to be the leadership of that group (Clay)....No I want that job to be filled by Dante.
If I want rotation I want Obo to be that guy.....we have limited money right now (would like to see Broc and his agent to make and offer of a redo...but that's that......Use the money to solidify the positions in the O-Line....IMO.
I can't understand why people keep talking about a 5th round draft pick as if he's an elite defensive prospect. If he becomes a good special teams player the Rams will have done well for where he was drafted. The fact that he couldn't even manage to get on the active roster last year kind of let's you know that he is not ready for the NFL and maybe never will be.
