It either is arthritic or not.
Forget this wear and tear nonsense.
The doctors know, so McVay knows. He just won’t tell the public.
And if it is arthritic, that’s a serious problem.
Gurley will not be the same guy, with or without rest, if he has an arthritic knee.
You don't seem to be responding to what I actually said.
I think you think I said something completely different from what I actually said.
For one thing "arthritic" does not automatically mean complete decline in 2019.
It;s as if I wrote the post you're responding to in response to this one.
....
I don't know what "complete" decline means. Does it mean that he can't play at all? Or does it mean that he can't be the complete Gurley that we have seen the past few years?
If Gurley has an arthritic knee he won't be the same guy this year that he has been in the past. How much worse, we just don't know yet.
But my issue is that the Rams are hiding something that they know. Something that is binary. Arthritic knee. Yes or No?
As I said, doctors look at an MRI, and they know. They tell McVay. But McVay won't tell us.
Wear and tear? Heck, every player has wear and tear. But they all don't have an arthritic knee.
