If they can renegotiate I'd soften my stance on moving on from him. Right now I'm assuming his salary is as is.
My question is, what's wrong with plan B being the guy we drafted last year who also showed well in his snaps. I'm currently doing a deeper dive in Brockers vs JFM production but my impression throughout the year was that JFM was providing every bit as much as Brock was.
I guarantee this, if JFM was a 1st or 2nd round pick and played exactly the same, we'd all be fine with saving that money and letting him step in. But as a 4th rounder he lacks the pedigree. I honestly think that's the big issue.
