I think you make some very cogent points in your post, youth and a lack of maturity at key positions including QB and yes head coach could prove to be problematic. The defense is alarming me and I don't think that Talib resolves the problems we have at OLB or LB period. We knew these were unknows and now after 6 games we know. The safeties have also regressed... Joyner more than JJ but he hasn't been great either.
We have a ways to go and honestly yes my onion could change... but I don't expect a SB trip any longer
Lets see if they can change my mind when they get to the tough part of the schedule. Lets assume they beat SF and get to 7-0... call the next 7 below. Something like that would probably make me more likely to move them back to favorite status but even then I have them basically losing to the elite teams
