Could have seen some “tell” in the film room but was getting burned on it. The injury could be influencing his play. He could have been instructed to go for the INT. He could have been going it on his own.
Easiest thing to say is that he is just taking chances and screwing the team... and that may be but it could be a lot of other things too. We might never know and to most it won’t matter.
