I didn't see last week.. but make no mistake... I "COMPLETELY" agree with the board analysis that he sucked.
Never the less... the generic criticism's of his game I have NOT seen... and think it's mostly 'group think' without real foundation. That is NOT to say I think he's good... he may very well be crap... I just don't think the evidence is fully in yet.
The immediate report after the next practice, (who wrote that and who here posted it? I forget), indicated he blew Goff out of the water in 'results'... with the obvious caveat, a BIG one, that he was playing against our 2nd string.
I am convinced that Mannion cannot simply step in and be adequate.. I am NOT convinced that he can NEVER be that. - JamesJM
