I don't have to look, I know this stuff. He didn't say top guys. He said former coordinators and former head coaches. The word "top" never came up. And yes he said they would not come because of the move, which in reality is a real consideration, and in message board coach blame stuff becomes "an excuse."
I think people like to dump on Fisher
way past real reason and historical evidence. It's a "thing."
And remember (he said, bringing facts into it again), most coordinators are promoted position coaches.
Like Groh. Name the last time the Rams went out and hired a known quantity established "top" experienced offensive coordinator. I mean in their entire history. The only one I can think of was McDaniels and he was a fiasco.
Well, you know what you know. But much of what you say remains opinion, just like everyone else here.
The fact remains that Prisco had a relevant quote from Fisher that shows what Fisher was all about offensively.
This isn't a black and white thing like you have habitually made it. It's not all the blame goes to Fisher for the bad performance. But there is enough blame to put on his shoulders.
