The best you could say about it was to throw it out. The worst that was said was Goff looks like a bust (which I never accepted).
Bottom line is that Goff has had one nice year after making some people nervous in his rookie year.
I think he is a franchise QB. The Rams aren't planning on replacing him anytime soon. And there is a good chance that he develops into a top 10 QB, and maybe a top 5 one in time.
Right now, listing him between 10 and 20 is about right at this point.
Well I see your point certainly, but I will say I did not write him off in 2016 and saw the signs of good things to come.
I absolutely think he is a franchise qb and in fact, just to call my own number, I may have been among the first to actually say he was.
I agree he could keep progressing but IMO even if he doesn;t he's good enough already.
