The owners are not dummies. They knew -more than us-about all those issues. Those were all calculated into the balance between what the costs would be and what the return would be for all the clubs. You and I are actually peons when it comes to the owner's interests. They don't care. One reason for the declining interest in the NFL is that people like you and I are realizing that we are merely servants to a master cash cow. It's like sex. Once someone figured out how to make lots of dough off a natural instinct it became a haven for billionaire rapists. We love football like we love sex. Keep it coming- we will pay whatever it cost.
