Enh. The pick no more set the Rams back than RG3 set Washington back. Neither team is "set back."
And this whole potential thing....that;s central to drafting linemen now, due to the spread of the college spread. From and 2013 on 1st round OL picks have gotten iffier for that very reason. GR is not the only bust/disappointment among 1st round OL since around 2013, and 1st round OL used to be the safest pick you could make in any draft.
Oh and no pick before 2017 was just Snead. Just as no pick after McVay is just Snead.
