I was going to say something similar. The one thing you can't measure is his "desire, ambition, and coaching aspirations". Fassel may absolutely LOVE his job as a Special Teams coordinator and may not want the additional responsibilities and headaches that come with being a head coach. Nothing wrong with that, if that's the case. Not every teacher wants to be a principal. Not every senator wants to be the President. Not every position coach wants to be a head coach. If and when he does, we'll know soon enough.
