The only think I remember Vinny being strong about was that the Rams were not trading Donald.
If he said the deal would get done in camp, my bet is that he was told that by the Rams, they wanted him in camp before they conceded anything more than they had on the table.
And keep in mind, Vinny is in tight with ED. Vinny knows as much if not more than any other reporter in LA.
