If cut, he'd result in $8M+ in dead cap this year. After this year, under $1M dead cap if released.

For a team to trade for him, they'd be taking on about $22M in salary over the next two years.

I don't get the knee-jerk reaction to Quinn's recent bumps and bruises. If he gets healthy, he'll be a beast in this defense. If not, the Rams have their out in 2018 and can find someone new.

Quinn has been a dog since his breakout year in 2015. He pretty much doesn't show up in the big games. The Bills game for example last season. Plus he has taken time off from camp in 2016 to see his sister in the Olympics. Where is the commitment to the team? And now he is held out for bumps and bruises. Deacon Jones would laugh in his face.

Grits

So what is your plan? Cut him, take an $8M dead cap hit, and risk seeing him sign with another team and returning to form?

Putting him on the trading block when his price tag is high and his present value is low?

Or... hoping he returns to form with the Rams?
