Rampage2K-
I LOVED IT!!!!
Looks like the days of the sloppy, aimless, Fisher ball are OVER!!!
So much good stuff to see last night.
Gurley looking patient with vision.
Goff scanning field and dropping dimes.
WR's running great routes and catching pretty much everything.
TE's doing the same.
OL looking solid.
Rookies to be excited about.
This team fighting like hell for every yard.
ST's looking great as usual.
Back ups with the CLUTCH drive to end the game with the W!!!
What I didnt love....
Defense was a little shaky, but missing quite a few stars...not too worried about it.
What I couldn't stand.....
That piece of sh*t Kareem Are taking out Carlols Thompson like that....and then the refs not even calling him on that!!!! WTF???!!!!
Yes, he showed patience. But I didn't see burst, didn't see much wiggle. Some power, yes, but he's never going to be Marshawn Lynch. He's not a "violent" runner. I do like him as a receiver, but, as a runner, the only play from him that widened my eyes some was one where he *did* show some acceleration around the right edge, gained about 5 before running out of bounds.
I'm no expert and would be delighted to be wrong, but I'm not seeing a "special" runner there.
Just from what I saw(jwatching game on DVR again right now) is that he isn't just running up the backs of his o-line, there was one play where he clearly waited set up his blocks and hit the hole to the left...it was something i hoping to see and saw it!!!
Gurley is a better runner then Marshawn Lynch, Lynch is all power, Gurley is power with speed. Go back and look at his rookie year, Lynch just can't do those runs.
Gurley was considered a "special" player coming out of the draft by many and the best RB prospect since AP.
Now that the Rams look to have a passing attack... Look out!!! Gurley will be back to his form in no time.
