According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Mack's new deal has been put on hold after the Raiders signed quarterback Derek Carr and offensive lineman Gabe Jackson to lucrative extensions over the past week that have limited the team's financial flexibility.
Carr inked a five-year, $125 million deal, while Jackson and the Raiders agreed to terms Thursday on a five-year, $56 million pact, per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

By contrast, the Rams just cut their second overall bust AND have also decided not to extend Tru.
They have extended no one to a big deal.
This continues to be a bad look with your 1 superstar talent...

Yet:
The fact that the Rams still don't have this wrapped up is worrisome. The Raiders have already signed Derek Carr; they didn't waste any time.
Yet they still haven't paid Mack( who was drafted what 10 spots higher then Donald in same draft) don't plan to either anytime soon apparently, but you don't hear any hold out stories about him either.
R.I.P. Nelson aka TonyHunter87 1971 - 2017 far too soon..
Your last words to me: "Your a great guy RFIP. I was very sad when you left the board, and your son, but was glad to see you back. Take care my friend, may God be by your side." 09/09/2017 12:58AM
No Nelson, you were a far better man than I, and I am sure an awesome husband and father as well. I will miss you my friend. -RFIP
