was last season was a Kobayashi Maru test for the O?

Was the offense so poorly run that it might have been impossible for the players to succeed? All the talk about how some of the top picks are busts, could that turn around with better coaching or adept coaching even? I don't know what to think. But I'm glad there is at least something different happening whatever the results.
