You have to be realistic about who you can get.
It's nice to dream about getting Engram in the 2nd but it was always highly unlikely.
And, as it turned out, the Rams would have had to trade up earlier than the 18th pick of the 1st round to have had a chance at him.
Clearly the Rams would of loved to have had Engram. They never said that Everett was the best of the TEs. They felt , however, that there was a good chance they could get him in the mid second round.
