I know all about NDSU my friend. My brother has been in Fargo for the past 6 years and loves the program and is putting all 3 of his kids through that college.
My point about age is, as I recall Brandon Weeden was like 30 when he came out. Did nothing for him.

One guy played at a major college and the other in a much lower division.
There's pluses and minuses to both age and school. It is what it is. No more excuses please. If Wentz played at Cal and Goff at NDSU the gap between the two would be enormous.
Let's just move forward and see where the chips fall from here.

Wentz is almost 2 years older than Goff, but that never really factored into the media comparing them on equal terms. I always called that sloppy reporting.
We all know who the big name media guys are who already declared Goff as a guy who can't play. If Goff turns into a player then their credibility takes a huge hit. Guys like Solomon Wilcotts, Keyshawn, and Nolan.
Wentz really did not play a lot his last two years in college. NDSU has been a dominant football program for a while and Wentz played in a pro-style offense. Bear-raid at Cal was not a pro-style offense.
