In front of Gurley with a couple of TE's and a speed WR on the outside gives us a multitude of choices. Run Gurley. Run the FB. Play action with either TE as the first choice. Play action with the speed WR the first choice. Play action with the FB catching the ball. Play action with Gurley catching the ball. We do enough different things out of that formation....with success and it becomes a serious weapon and pretty hard to defense. One tight end and two wideoutscreate even more options. Having a versatile FB in the offense opens up a lot of things. Oh and he can block.
