Tackles
I've stated my like for Sam Tevi and Andreas Knappe.
Andreas Knappe, UCONN - is a great pass blocker and is very patient in letting the edge get to him. He will be 26 by the time the season starts, so he would be a steal if he goes undrafted, though I think some team would be wise to grab him.
Sam Tevi, Utah - Good footwork, gets the job done, but doesn't wow you really. Probably develop into a solid starter with some time, and it looks like he's starting to climb up boards.
Yeah, I think we discussed them before.
Guards
Fred Zerblis, Colorado State - Takes good angles and gets to the second level efficiently. Does a great job of recognizing stunts and twists and excels in holding up his blocks. Was capable of playing in both zone and gap schemes, so he's not limited to a specific scheme.
Love his aggressiveness but his technique has zero consistency. Drops his head and bends at the waist often to generate power. Feet stop moving at times and he gets jolted at the snap a good bit
Jake Eldrenkamp, Washington - Improved his passing blocking and is physical at the point of attack. Really good at pulling and creating big plays when doing so, but his two worst games last year were against Alabama and USC, so can he play against better competition?
The opposite of Zerblis here. Controlled and technically sound. Patiently moves around and times his punch well to generate power. Needs to add bulk/strength to deal with the big boys. Even with that said I don't think he embarrassed himself at all vs Alabama.
Centers
Chase Roullier, Wyoming - Played both the Guard and C position, so that's a plus for versatility. Doesn't lose often and is very powerful moving players where he wants them to go. Can play in zone and gap schemes, but isn't overly athletic and playing in the Mountain West will raise concerns at the next level. But seriously, this guy is incredible at moving other players and I would be very happy if the Rams grabbed him later than any of the other centers.
Agreed, I'm a big fan. only left him out because he was discussed a few times before.
Leo Koloamatangi, Hawaii - This is the Greg Robinson of the center position, in that I mean he has a ton of upside. He also played center and guard, also one game at LT as well. Moves well, good run blocker, and has the tools that need to refined in the NFL. His power and athleticism are at the top of the class and if he can focus on one position rather than playing multiple all the time, he could develop into quite the player
Interesting mention. Not sure I see the Robinson comparison. Good pop in his hands, moves well from one target to another. Plays tall and exposes his chest so he can be controlled.
