You do NOT draft guys that are 5'8" 174 lbs. that high in the draft!!! They traded up and gave up a 2nd and a 7th for him. Just nuts.

We would be talking 'value' and 'so glad we have him' if he had been chosen later in the draft. But at #8???

Ace Saunders
D'Anthony Thomas
Dexter McCluster
Denard Robinson

How are those guys doing in the NFL these days?

It gets even worse when you consider we chose Austin instead of these that were all available at #16; meaning we don't trade up and keep the 2nd rounder:

Leveon Bell
DeAndre Hopkins
Justin Pugh
Eric Reid
Travis Fredrick
Kyle Long
Xavier Rhodes
Travis Kelce
Tyrann Mathieu

The Ram's organization was just flat out inept. Stupid beyond stupid. And they extended Austin..... they're unbelievable.

Ram49373February 17, 2017 09:58AM

He should be used like he was two seasons ago

Should be slot on 3rd downs,

Blue and Gold340February 16, 2017 12:29PM

Is he any good in slot?

promomasterj285February 16, 2017 12:51PM

Slots can be small, but they need to run good routes

Blue and Gold278February 16, 2017 12:56PM

what about 1st and 2mnd downs?

Hazlet Hacksaw311February 16, 2017 01:10PM
