As Cromwell said, this move tells me that Fisher had primary control and that Demoff/Kroenke blamed things primarily on him. I don’t see any other way it would make sense to have Snead retain his job.
Given that Fisher was basically the head football man in charge, I wonder about the power structure now.
I don’t think they are giving final say to McVay. And Demoff having it would be scary. Snead is going to have to be elevated to a true GM.
It was well known Fisher had all that control. It was given to him by Demoff and Kroenke when they hired him.
Demoff wasn't going to let that happen again so hired a young offensive gun who will be busy coaching and he gets to keep his guy Snead as GM.
Demoff is the man with all the power. Snead will report to him.
