So because now good QB's were bad as rookies then hokus pocus alikaszam! That means Goff is somehow going to be great?!?!
There have been a lot of rookie QB's who have at least held their own if not played very well. Some went in to greatness, others to be bust.
I'm pretty sure if Goff was playing in remotely "average" most would be tickled pink but because he's been horrific we need to find other horrific rookie QB's to somehow make us feel Goff will turn out just fine.
I like the eyeball test and to my peepers he's been a failure to date.
That is all I can tell you as of today. Hopefully in 9 months I have a completely different view of him...but I'm not holding my breath..
And many of our exact eyeball test is telling us a different story. Just saying............
"Horrific" is an awfully strong word to describe his play as well I'm sorry inaccurate. I don't understand how some can't see what he has been dealt with since he took over. In fairness to CK same hand. Difference is our eyeball test can see the skill set difference between the two.
