ADD this. In that same span, you have a relatively healthy, relatively experienced, decent OL in only 20 of those games.

And then let's say the overlap between having the OL and having the starting caliber qb is 15 games.

I wouldn't fire the coach because if that situation keeps up, a new coach is going to make no difference whatsoever.

SO if KS is good, wish him the OL and the qb. Cause. If he's good he can win with that. If he's good, and he doesn't have those 2 things combined, he won';t win.

Unless you can give me examples of coaches who DID win under those conditions. I can't think of any.

I don't mean to speak for Florida_Ram, but I think that one could surmise that his statement assumes a relatively healthy team. I know you're throwing out random scenarios for injuries and if that happened then I agree those are extenuating circumstances and in that case firing him after 3 years might not be prudent. But if the team is relatively healthy in those 3 years I would expect to see a lot of improvement in that time.

Well as it happens, my numbers describe exactly what happened from 2012 to 2015. That is what the Rams history is in that period. (2016 was different.)
