Demoff was quoting Plaschke in the Rams proposal to move to LA. He was using ED as an ambassador to LA in the move.
What does he think now? We don't need those guys? Those guys are not important to us anymore?
Demoff is alienating more and more important connections to the LA market. It's clear that he is the mouthpiece for Kroenke, so it's Demoff with his neck out now.
This ED thing is all over national media now. People who never heard of Kevin Demoff know who he is now. And they are shaking their heads saying, "is this guy serious?"
Plaschke said he spoke with Demoff yesterday and Demoff told him the next 5 games will determine what the Rams do. Fisher has 5 games to show that they are headed in the right direction. The implication is that the Rams will assess everything from Fisher on down based on these next 5 games, especially the development of Goff.
I said over a month ago that Fisher would be gone at the end of the year with one proviso, only Goff can save his job. It's seem that is the case based on what I'm hearing from Plaschke.
So all eyes are on Goff. If he gets hurt because of the disappointing OL or doesn't show well enough, and the Rams look like a mess the last 5 games, then the question will be how much integrity does Demoff have because there is no way he can sell Fisher after what he said. Demoff isn't going to be able to talk to anyone if he brings Fisher back without them laughing, if not in his face, then in the media. I like Demoff, he seems like he is trying to do what's best, but if he is on board with bringing Fisher back after the Rams look like garbage the last 5 games, then he will lose all credibility.
