yep...some people just have to shoot the messenger
I considered Mannion a solid #2 pick and just another bit of info about Goff's lack of development..I started that Goff bust? thread for a reason...something is up.
I think it's good to consider the source, but to trash someone who has some credentials isn't smart.
The person is not in question. One statement of his IS.
At the same time he's making statements about how league sources are telling him what Rams coaches think of Goff, we get reporters watching practice saying he looks good.
Now look right in the eye what is actually being said. Don't try to inflate it into something it's not. Look at it directly.
Does a blogger claiming that league sources told him what Rams coaches are thinking sound like credible evidence to you?
Don't get off into bios or anything that in fact remember are put up there as PR by the blogger himself. What MIGHT help is if you had a long acquaintance reading the guy and could actually speak directly to how credible he is.
But in the absence of that, someone making the highly unlikely claim that league sources know what Rams coaches think about their #1 pick, yet no other journalist either in LA or among the nationals gets wind of the same thing?
I am asking about logic, it's not about persons. Let alone about posters (which is the same problem you claim to condemn, just at a different level.)
I mean you don't have to deify the messenger, you can look directly at the statement. Does it hold up, and if so why.
