First of all, thanks for posting, Mama.
Well, what can I say?
Fred Roggin is a VERY credible source, if this is accurate. And who in their right mind would drop his name if not true?
Fisher being on the hot seat is not a stretch, although I expected Kroenke to give him the rest of the season.
Goff? Well, let's face it. His being unable to see the field was an enigma, already. It would certainly be understandable if Kroenke were upset if S&F made a monumental blunder after that blockbuster tradeup. Makes the Rams a laughingstock and there's the matter of the 6 premium picks that are long gone.
As I posted in another thread recently, if S&F did, in fact, blow this pick, well... it would be a career ender. Unrecoverable. Snead will be collateral damage unless it proves that he either didn't want the tradeup in the first place (unlikely) OR that Snead preferred Wentz but was overruled.
Perhaps another HC and staff can turn Goff around. But that might have to wait until next year.
Everybody loses.
Kroenke
Fisher
Snead (unless he favored Wentz all along. Demoff would know).
