He's simply a quiet northern California kid. I went to college with a ton of northern California kids and his demeanor is not unusual- or to me any sort of red flag. Nothing is guaranteed one way or another but his tape, work/film study habits, athleticism and leadership were not questioned coming into the Draft. High marks all around. He just turned 22 years old. He's a kid.
agree good kid...most top qb's seem to be jerks.
volunteered at a autism school, taught GED classes, taught adult illiterates how to read, coached youth sports and to augment my education even enrolled in a master level course in special education about learning disabilities...seen a few kids in my life who are slow learners...
if I'm right Rams are wasting their time waiting for him to learn how to handle checkdowns/blitz pickups. Favre said he wasn't going to practice harder when at Atlanta till they made him their starter and Glanville said he wasn't going to start him till he practiced harder..a catch 22
same might be happening here...any teachers out there understand all people have their own learning style...Goff style might be hands on...he simply has to play to learn. IMO he needs to start even if for 10-15 snaps..especially for 10-15 snaps that he has been pre-called and practiced all week.
