Rams are losing precious chances to evaluate Goff

Is Goff any good? Is he a franchise quarterback? Who knows. Only time on the field will tell. You draft a guy that high you think he'll work out, but there are no guarantees. Lots of high picks fail. With the way rookie contracts are structured, you've only got 3 seasons to evaluate a qb. At the end of year 3 you've got to decide if the player is worth the fifth year extension - or a longer contract to hopefullly ease some future cap numbers.

Every game Goff sits on the bench is a missed opportunity to see what he can do. If you don't want to play the #1 QB, don't draft the #1 QB. This is turning into a mess for no good reason other than Fisher's incompetence. We are wasting snaps on a guy who will, most likely, not even be on the team next year. Why?
