This is a very unusual draft class because you have the #1 overall pick and then a bunch of mid to late round picks. Through six games the only (mild) surprise I have is that Higbee hasn't caught the ball a little more. And I do mean a little more. Like maybe 5 or 6 catches instead of 1. He's playing the complementary #2 TE role but just not involved in the passing game yet.
Apart from Goff every Rams draft choice was from #110-206 overall. They didn't have a pick in the 2nd or 3rd rounds and those guys tend much more often to be immediate contributors.
Cooper probably would have been the 3rd WR early on had he not hurt his shoulder but now he's playing catch up and also the unforeseen play of Quick has squeezed him down the depth chart for now.
Forrest has played pretty well the last two games and is improving. I hope he keeps it up.
