When the 3rd down play was over, my thought was that the FG team was going on the field next, and I was happy with that, a 3 point lead at the half on the road. Take the points and return for another battle. I didn't even entertain going for it.
I thought they would take the point too, but couldn't blame them for going for it with less then a foot away....if Todd follows his blockers that's an easy six and prolly Rams victory and 4-2.
Let's say they take the three points and the Lions tie the game at 31 then go into OT and win it.... People would be livid that Fisher didn't go for it at the end of the half when he was less then a foot away...sometimes you just can't win.
