Not that these numbers matter for this discussion but here is some fun info..........The conversion rate for two-point attempts over the last 5 years is 50%.
90% of kicks from the range where the extra point is kicked are good.
So on 100 kicks you get 90 points. On 100 two-point attempts you score 100 points.
It's all how you dissect it and really it's the strategy that matters. IMO it wasn't a bad decision it just didn't work. If you have a 50-50 chance of forcing the Bucs to score two TD's or one TD and two FG's to win/tie with less than 5 minutes that's a good move and I would do it against the Bucs too.
