There is no question at least in my mind this was a collaborative effort between Fisher, Kroenke, Demoff and Snead. My guess is evaluations were close enough between the two that they went with the marketing route of the local blond haired surfer looking Cali kid.
That being said, I really thought Wentz was a perfect fit for this Rams offense and the guy Fisher himself would like most. I was really shocked when I found out Goff was their guy.
When the Rams do at some point feel forced into putting Goff in this season, I`ll be taking a close look at his body language as he struggles. I`ve got one of those bad feelings already. Hope to heck I`m wrong.
