When he took full control of the Rams a lot of posters were really happy, posters from all over not LA or STL, from different places.
A few of us were trying to tell people that he cares about the money, owning the venues and revenues associated from that, which are far more than the money made from the teams. But. Not so much about winning championships. This has been his credo since he dove into the sports franchise world.
Many people assumed he would spend away and make sure the Rams would have everything and would win.
It's secondary to him, just like it was to Georgia Frontiere. Money is first.
Let's hope Goff is the difference maker, because with a good QB this team can win and compete for a title. Maybe they catch lightning in a bottle again.
All of this makes me really miss that magical time when the Rams were vaporizing the NFL.
Ah well. We can hope.
