Yes it was a good commentary. It brings up a good question though. Is the poor route get blamed on the QB not changing the call at the line? Because the WR can only run the play the QB is expecting the WR to run. If he freelances and runs an in when it should be an out the ball will be thrown to the wrong spot.
That was two rookies in the infancy of their careers, I wouldn't expect them to recognize that or even be on the same page even if they did.... Still should have been caught.
I liked Thomas a lot coming out, but man he has disappointed me with all the drops.
