Snisher moved up to no. 1 to take Goff. Goff is a Rhythm passer and needs a faster paced, up tempo offense to flourish. The Rams do not have the WR's to be a prolific passing team. Gurley is a top 5 RB. He will be fed the rock 25-30 times a game. I've been questioning the move to No.1 this whole time. They could've stayed pat and took Paxton Lynch, who is big, has a strong arm and is somewhat of a running threat. I'm surprised Dak Prescot wan't on their radar. He is a Steve McNair clone.
I guess Snisher thinks they can mold Goff into a traditional, pro style, PA type passer, or they think the Rams defense will carry the team until they can collect superior WR talent over the next couple of years.
Personally, I have little faith in Snisher's ability to make good offensive decisions for this organization.
