Right off the snap he sees Quick with man coverage to his left. I don't know where the safety is, but he's not in the picture. If Quick can get off the jam, there is the opportunity for a big play there. Goff is looking that way the entire play. Quick doesn't get off the jam but Goff is still looking his way hoping he can break back to him - which he eventually does, but not only is it too late, but the CB is all over him.
But yeah, Goff needs to scrap that play and throw it away.
