I support what you're saying about Cooper and his drops.
He never had that ball under control. He let it get through his hands and hit his chest and was still trying to corral it when the hit came in.
So I suppose that the hit could have jarred it loose even if he had caught, but probably not.
The real problem was that he didn't make a good hands catch of the ball in the first place. I'm disappointed because at S Carolina he was a leader and had a rep as a clutch, do-everything player.
He needs to step up. But draftees always start with an advantage over UDFA's and I think they intend to use him as a returner, so he's probably already got a spot for this year at least.
